Indeed, it seems every solid signing is accompanied by at least two or three absolute flops these days, so with the Premier League’s 2016/17 campaign starting to draw to a close, we’ve probably seen enough football by now to decide which flop is the absolute worst of the bunch.
There’s plenty of candidates to choose from; Manchester United’s underwhelming world-record signing Paul Pogba, Manchester City’s error-prone glovesman Claudio Bravo and Arsenal’s hot-headed midfield enforcer Granit Xhaka to name a few.
